I’ve never read a truer quote than this. It touches me in ways I cannot explain because I do care about people and always have. Only in the early days, I didn’t know how to show it or maybe I was afraid to show it because it made me vulnerable. After all, I was suffering from a torrent of bullying and I was afraid that if I showed vulnerabilities, people would eat me alive.
This was wrong think.
I now realize that before you can help others, you must not only care about them, but let them know that you care. Now I could spout off about how much I’ve learned about bullying and the dark part of human nature, but all that knowledge is worth nothing if I don’t care about my fellow man.
And anyone who shares their knowledge and gives advice without caring for people are only spreading their wisdom for purposes of vanity and that’s not good.
You must care about people, especially those you’re trying to help, or your cause will fall flat. Knowledge without love and caring is dead.
With knowledge comes empowerment!

Not everyone may understand German, Russian, French, Mandarin, English, Greek, or Swahili. But when Love speaks, we all ‘get it.’
Genuine LOVE is a universal language, especially when it is spoken from a caring heart.

I became a teacher because I care deeply! I want children to find their best lives and live them to the fullest- securing their joys and gifts so that they can help better humanity. So this recent attach on me by my bullyboss really breaks my heart- I thought after growing up in a cruelly abusive and unsupportive home that once I got out in the real world, life would be better- and for the most part it is! Sadly I the abuse I am facing in my beloved career is beyond disappointing! It is heartbreaking how in education this kind of bad behaviour prevails behind classroom doors. Yet I maintain a bully free zone for my students- it is an entirely different matter when it comes to my colleagues. It is not always a caring, safe and wwelcoming place for us. My bullyboss went after 3 other colleagues before me- I was present for those other colleagues-who now have left our school but I seem to be standing alone now- I actually feel rather ostracized with zero contact from any of my remaining colleagues- two of whom I mentor. BUT it is this group gives that me hope! I need to seek help from my union- but I am not quite there. Your blogs build up my insights on the topic and my courage plus it restores my belief that there are still loads of good people in this community as well as still out there around the planet. Thank you!
You’re so welcome, Kim! When you’re bullied and mobbed at work, it can shatter your image of humanity and can strip you of your humanity. Please don’t allow them to do that to you. If you have to leave and move to a better school, please do. Your mental health is more important than anything right now! <3

I think its why so many suicide or just withdraw completely to stay safe .
