This is a day most of us in the Northern Hemisphere have waited for! Spring is a time of rebirth and growth. It’s the season of blooms in their beautiful pastel colors- a time when everything reawakens from it’s long winter’s slumber.
When I think of Spring, I think of the colorful pink, red, white, and yellow blooms of Azalea bushes. I think of cherry blossoms, I think of daffodils or buttercups- whatever you prefer to call them.
I think of baby birds and bunny rabbits. I think of walking in the park on warm, sunny days with cool breezes and sitting in my backyard swing while the pets play in the grass.
I think of little ones in their Easter dresses or suits trotting around with their little baskets hunting for Easter eggs. I think of the Resurrection. I think of birds singing in the trees and butterflies dancing in the sun.
I also think of kids riding their bicycles in the neighborhood streets and cars full of teens driving around with the music blaring.
And I think of cool nights and the glowing lights of fireflies blinking in the twilight.
What do you think of when you think of Spring?
Wishing you all a joyous season whether it’s spring or fall in your Hemisphere.
Spring often means warmer, more dry/sunny weather, which means less physical pains… π
Plus not needing heavy, thick clothing… Being able to sit on my balcony in the sun with a cool drink and a good book. Flowers coloring the streets. Hay fever π oh the sneezing joy!
Oh, yasss! The good and the not-so-good, girlie! ππ€
Yes it’s a combination… But more sun/warm days usually helps me beat my darkness a lot easier, aka the depression, so yay for that! I hope to be able to restrict my calories again so I can lose weight instead of gain it. π
Looking for positive effects β₯ β
I completely relate, Cynni! It helps lift my moods too. ππΉ

Thank you so much! π
That bike looks so beautiful!
Oh, it does, doesn’t it! I got this from stock photos- when I saw this picture, I just had ro have it! πππΉThank you so much, Sheree!

spring is a blessing, and it is totally free
Amen on that! π―π―
Please send me a snowflake! My house is first to the right when you enter from Antarctica π Enjoy your lovely spring
ππ€£ππ€£ And you have a lovely Fall!
Thanks….In the past, there was no interest, but should people not learn about my American visions? Well over a thousand of mine transpired as shown, since I was nine years old.
Oh, we don’t do fall, I think that’s exclusively American. We do autumn, or herfs in my language. π
Great. π Happy Autumn.
Thanks β€οΈ
I think of spring blossom.
Absolutely π― I do too! π
Spring brings vibrant and cheerful atmosphere and emotions around.
It sure does! π―ππΉπ
Happy Springtime Cherie! Here in the UK, the weather this time of year is less predictable. This is the time of year we can get all four seasons in the same day.
Wow! I can imagine. The UK is a pretty cold country isn’t it. I know you have spring and summer. But I’ve hear you have one winters.
We have some days which can be called proper summer days or proper winter ones. It’s not really cold. Not like a New Jersey winter when the temperature only goes above freezing to rain.
Gotcha! π―
Spring is not just a season, its a medium of merriment tooβΊοΈ
It sure is! I’m loving it! β€οΈ

Today was the first day. Iβm ready for Summer. π
You’re most welcome, Keith! I think I can wait for summer, though. ππ€£ I’m not ready for the heat just yet.
Oh Iβm ready for sweaty beach, suntan time π
If I lived near the beach, I would be too! π

I live spring! I love the smell of the snow melting into the mud. I love the sound of the happy birds. I love finding brand new plants breaking through the soil. I love the reminder that hard times always end, and something new is birthed from the struggle.
Absolutely! I especially love that last line! πππΉ
Yes, hallelujah for spring, awakenings, and fresh new beginnings! πβ€ππΎ
Amen, Petrina! ππππΉ
How absolutely gorgeous! I am a huge fan of yours, dear Cherie. I too love spring season.
Thank you so much! π
Thank you so much for bringing this beautiful post on Spring.
Spring brings love at first, because nature plays a colourful role.
In India, we wait for this season with great interest. Famous Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore wrote several poems on Spring.
We celebrate colour festival known as Holi. We all are in joyous mood in this season. Here it is for two months.
You have presented an awesome post.
Happy time there in this Spring. Let us enjoy ππ βΊοΈπ
You’re most welcome, Arun! Wishing you a very Happy Holi! ππΉπΊπ»π₯π£

Spring is renewal and rebirth! When we emerge from the cocoon of winter coats and woolen socks and don our bright colors and strappy sandals to dance in the warmth!!
This is such a beautiful comment, Valerie! I love the poetry feel! ππ₯°

Oops! Pardon the typo!
Ooh! Republic of South Africa.
Right.
Happy Spring! Weather is getting warmer here too these days, tho very wet and windy. I love the spring, signs of new life. I can’t wait till I can get out! I see the doctor Thurs, see how well my broken ankle has healed, and when I can start walking again and ditch the crutches. I get my independence back for the warmer weather coming! Something I am really looking forward too!
I don’t blame you there, Stella! Here’s hoping that ankle has progressed and heals soon! And Here’s wishing you a beautiful spring! π
Loved this
Thank you so much. π
I think of longer daylight hours; walks in the countryside with friends; blossoms, flowering bulbs and fresh baby-green leaves. I think of Lent and the hope of the resurrection.
Absolutely! π― So beautiful! I love the baby green grass! Sometimes I’ll be driving and look across a field and see that fresh green grass that looks laid out like a carpet! πππΉ
I love Spring. I love the growth, the feeling of rebirth. It’s amazing! I love to feel the sunshine and hear the lovely birds β€
I’m with you there! The change of the seasons has always filled me with hope, especially Spring! I love the colorful flowers, the baby birds crying from their nests, the bunny rabbits, the fresh baby green grass! It always uplifts me! ππππ»πΉ
