Wonderful quote. Truth!
Thank you so much, Michelle! 💖
I am a work in progress. I have imperfections – they are what make me real. Beautiful post Cherie.
Thank you so much, Sandra. 😊 💖
Imperfections make people who they are.
I personally love this. I have a significant scar on my neck from surgeries. I’m sometimes asked if it bothers me and the answer is NO. Actually I don’t even see it anymore – neither do the people who know me well. I’ve chosen not to hide it or correct it because it tells a story. It reminds me of my journey and also God’s healing through this event. Like the quote, it makes me who I am, flawed and beautiful. Thanks for sharing this quote! Best Wishes! Leigh
You’re most welcome, Leigh! I’m so glad that you love your scar and you have the perfect mindset because, as you say, the scar reminds you of your journey (how far you’ve come) and of God’s healing (that miracles happen all the time). Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we all had this awesome attitude. May God continue to bless and keep you. <3 🙂
Thank you – God Bless you as well!
As Elizabeth Gilbert says, “Embrace the glorious mess you are.” Eat, pray, love.
