“How to Win Friends & Influence People” by Dale Carnegie.
If you’re having trouble making friends, this is your book. The first time I read this book was back in high school, just before I transferred to a new school. I studied the book and practiced what it taught me when I moved to my new school and it changed my life. It can change yours too!
“The Laws of Human Nature.” by Robert Greene
This book is a must read for targets of bullying! It will tell you everything about people- the good, the bad, and the ugly. You will learn why people do what they do and all about the intentions, motivations, and agendas behind it. I highly recommend this book!
Warning! This book is pretty cutthroat! But, if you want to know all the dirty tricks of the bully in order to protect yourself and successfully dodge their attacks and sabotages, this is the book for you. In order to deter a bully, you must know how they think and how they operate.
This book will tell you all about how bullies use superficial charm and charisma to get what they want. It will also teach you the correct social skills to attract friends and dates. It will also teach you how to better your existing relationships and further your career and job opportunities! And who doesn’t want that?
Let’s face it, education alone will only get you so far. But with the right social skills, you can go further than you ever thought. You’d be surprised at how many high school and college drop-outs ended up ahead at the game of life. And it’s because they had superior social skills!
This book will also give you great ideas on how to deter bullies. Granted, this book is also a little cutthroat. However, you must know the bullies’ playbook in order to successfully defend yourself against them.
If you have trouble reading body language, this book is for you! In order to protect ourselves from bullies, it is a must that we know how to accurately read body language. Especially hostile body language. When I read this book years ago, I learned so many new things and you’ll be surprised at what you can learn by glancing at a person’s feet! Yes, I said feet! The feet tell more than any other part of the body!
If you’d like to learn persuasion techniques, this is your book! We all use persuasion every day but don’t realize it. Persuasion is the key to great relationships and helps establish good connections on the job and at school! You can have ten college degrees but without good social skills you won’t get far in life. It’s a shame they don’t teach these things in school.

The Dale Carnegie book should be required reading for everyone – especially for teens looking for that first job!
