Today’s Quote

“Resilience isn’t a single skill. It’s a variety of skills and coping mechanisms. To bounce back from bumps in the road as well as failures, you should focus on emphasizing the positive.”

Sorry to be a bit of a nit-picker, but that quote stems from … where?

I checked https://jeanchatzky.com/?s=resilience and there were too many results for my feeble mind to handle.

And *besides*, IMHO: positive and negative are simply mathematical terms referring to opposite direction. In my world, there are *INFINITE* directions, some are more opposite, some are less opposite, some might be orthogonal, some might even be in the twilight zone … .

Hi, Norbert. Thank you for your comment. I had Googled it before posting and that’s who it said it was from. However, I realize that not all of Google’s information is accurate. And if this is some of it, please allow me to apologize.

No problem (besides WP not notifying me about your reply — or do they only do that for sites they host [like wordpress.com blogs]? maybe, can’t remember, IDC I guess πŸ˜‰ ).

If I would do something like that (which BTW I wouldn’t actually do), then I would attribute it to the GOOGz … or at least whatever website said that *about* Jean Chatzky. IDK anything about her, BTW.

I always consider people who say shit like “positive” or “negative” (again BTW, I happen to be the PROUD owner of negativity.biz πŸ˜‰ ) … I consider them to have quite shallow minds. Without a change in direction NO ONE could be TEH CHANGE they want to see in the world. QED

Martial arts is the best because not only does it teach you self protection, it also teaches you how to think on your feet. Thank you so much for mentioning this! 😊
