I have to share this great news as I believe it will help others. Now I can’t speak for other targets or survivors of bullying because each bullying experience and situation is different.
However, from my own experiences and perspective, I can say that writing and blogging about bullying, and the tactics, motives, mindsets, and dark personalities of bullies has definitely kept the bullies away.
Word of my writing, books and blog has definitely gotten around and I haven’t heard from any of those who wanted to confront me when I first started writing and I couldn’t be happier about it.
It sure looks as if my writing about bullying has protected and shielded me from these types of people because bullies don’t try to provoke me anymore. In fact, they stay way away and I can finally relax, live in peace, and flourish.
And I’ve gotten word that the bullies know that it’s in their best interests to stay away. They know that if anything were to happen to me, there will be a lot of people who would come around asking questions, and they would know who to go to.
I feel that through my writing, I finally took my life back and I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome it feels! I can finally be myself, stand in my truth, and, most importantly, be safe!
The best part is that it’s easier to help others take their lives back too!
And I’m thankful not only to those who have supported me during my writing journey, but first and foremost, to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ because, without Him, none of this would even be possible!
With knowledge comes empowerment!

I am very happy for your Cherie! There is nothing like that freedom, knowing you are finally safe!
Amen on that. Stella! 💯💯💯
You are very right!
That’s right! The Word of God is more cutting than any double-edged sword!
Congratulations and blessings, heavenly and earthly, eternal, sublime, supreme, with all your loved ones!
A bright and relaxing end of the week!
Thank you so much, Losif! 💖 And you’re so right about that! 💯
I enjoy people like you!
I started writing about bullying to help me deal with my past. I love you communicate with you on how to go about writing like a self help book.
I would love to, Steve! Sure!
Must be why my sister bullying has toned down, they don’t like reading about them selves.
Bahahaha! 😂🤣😂🤣 You betcha they don’t!
This is so awesome to hear!
Thank you so much! 💖💐🌹🦋🌞
I don’t believe in God, Cherie, but I wish you well all the same.
Wishing you well too, Peter. 😊
Thank you so much! 😊😊😊
It’s very important to use writing or other healthy approaches to detoxing some of the negative and painful experiences out of the body. Otherwise it festers and can lead to negative thinking, bad habits, and even lead us to abuse ourselves.
That’s absolutely right! 💯 You said that perfectly!
How lovely! What a beautiful post! We are all there for each other!! Big hugs.
Awww! 😍🥰 Thank you so much, Sandy! 💖 Sending you big hugs as well, sweetie! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I can second, third and fourth everything you’ve written here.
Thank you so much, Michael! It’s how we survived! 😊😃💪
Your insights from your experiences, are quite remarkable. They are a good “interim balance”, if I may call it that.
The translation is also great written.
Nicely done Cherie 🍒
Thank you so much, Linda! You don’t know how much this means. 💖💐🌹🦋
Is that true. At this point I have only had one person that was a bit iffy. Thankfully we have a lovely community group here.
Yes we do! 💯 And when we write about it, we break the silence. Bullying can only thrive on silence.
Oh how I love this. You’re doing a great service for all us targets 💕
Thank you so much, Shanti! 💖🌹
LOL this title grabbed me because I can relate 😂🤣😅
I’m so glad you wrote about it too! It gave you a voice! 💖💐🌹
The more you write, the more you are heard? Did I guess it right?🤔
Absolutely you did! 😊
What a beautiful post! I love it and that’s absolutely right
Thank you so much!
Amen Inspiring and empowering
Thank you so much, Kaye! 💖 💐🌹
This is an absolutely amazing post, and as someone who has survived bullying, child abuse, sexual assault and most recently psychological abuse, I applaud you. It is in these moments of weakness that we find our strength, and it is through humility that we find empowerment. God is a little bit different for me because I am a Unitarian Universalist – I believe that he is around us and in the sun, I do not believe that he looks like us. Still, I believe that he watches over us and he gives us the strength and tools to confront those who have wronged us, and to go on to be better and stronger because of it, because of him, his gifts and teachings. Well done to you and may the Lord have mercy on the next poor soul who dares to try and cross your path!
Thank you so much, Helen! You don’t know how much this means! My heart goes out to you for all that you’ve suffered, but I’m so proud of you for rising above all the scum who abused you. You don’t know how proud I am of you! 💖💖💖
BTW, I need to let you know that I’ll be going self-hosted soon. I’m going self-hosted because of the glitches that have only recently rendered me unable to like posts or follow new blogs I like and who have followed me. I believe in reciprocating the love and support given me and when I’m unable to do that, it hurts me. So, I’ve decided to go self-hosted so that I can have the freedom to do that.
This site will be up until we get the new blog completed. The new blog will be a part of my website so I’ll go ahead and give you the link:
Have a wonderful Sunday, sweetie! 💖🌹💐
Aww thankyou, Cherie! I try not to see those who have abused me as inherently bad people, just broken people, maybe? My Mum for example, she has a wonderful, loving heart, but she says things that are unkind, probably because her parents did it to her when she was young. My grandfather was in the military, so bluntness (as is often the lingo in the forces) was something that they never really shied away from. I try to forgive others unless they do something that really harms me in a way that I can’t forgive. Setting boundaries definitely helps!
Oh no! I’ve been having some issues with WordPress – the social ‘Facebook’ button on each of my posts was acting as a dead link – so I’ve turned that off, and that seems to have fixed it. The downfall of course is that it limits the sharing features, but I’ve had backlinks before so I firmly believe that those who want to, will find a way.
Good luck with your new site! I hope it goes smoothly for you. Have a wonderful Tuesday sweet! 🙂
Thank you so much, Helen! The fact that you try not to see the people who abused you as inherently bad people only shows the strength of your character and the goodness of your heart, sweetie! Don’t ever lose that! Sending you lots of love and well-wishes! 💖🌺🌹🤗😊
Bullying is still out there, and some children are still suffering from it.
It’s very important to make it known and to seek out attention from capable others, if not parents.
Seriously, it’s ravaging these children mentally.
Sadly, you’re absolutely right! That’s why we need to reach these children and let them know in no uncertain terms that none of the bullying they suffer is their fault and that they still have value, regardless of the blatant lies others tell them. Bless you for this comment! Sending lots of hugs your way! 🤗🤗🤗
