Which Do You Want to Be? A Victim or Victor?

Spread the love

Bad things happen to the best people all the time, and sometimes people get what they don’t deserve. Some of the greatest and purest of humans are brutalized. It’s an unfortunate and sad part of life, and no one ever said that life was fair.

But you can take something from it. You have the choice of being a victim, or you can choose to be an overcomer.

When you’re an overcomer, there’s no greater feeling than knowing how far you’ve come. “You grow through what you go through.”

With knowledge comes empowerment!

You’re absolutely right, Anne Marie! 💯It plays right into the abuser’s hands! Thank you so much for your input! You don’t know how valuable it is! 💖🌺🌹

You start by learning all you can about bullying and abuse- learn about the mindsets behind bullying and abuse, motivations, and intentions behind them, the tactics bullies and abusers use, why they use them and the goals they want to accomplish by using them. Always get the knowledge of abuse from all angles so that you can predict what they’ll do next. Then formulate a plan of escape.

Also, if you can, document everything. Write about each bullying incident in detail (date and exact time it happened, what happened, who was involved, the names of any witnesses, where it happened, why it happened, and if possible- how it happened.)

I hope this helps, sweetie! Sending you lots of love and hugs!

Love this and it is so true! There is a quote along this line from Joyce Meyer that I tell myself and daughters all the time “You can be pitiful or you can be powerful, but you can’t be both!” Understanding that you have a choice to NOT be a victim is so powerful! Thanks for sharing this! Best Wishes and have a great weekend! Leigh
