Happy First Day of Spring!

Spread the love

This is a day most of us in the Northern Hemisphere have waited for! Spring is a time of rebirth and growth. It’s the season of blooms in their beautiful pastel colors- a time when everything reawakens from it’s long winter’s slumber.

When I think of Spring, I think of the colorful pink, red, white, and yellow blooms of Azalea bushes. I think of cherry blossoms, I think of daffodils or buttercups- whatever you prefer to call them.

I think of baby birds and bunny rabbits. I think of walking in the park on warm, sunny days with cool breezes and sitting in my backyard swing while the pets play in the grass.

I think of little ones in their Easter dresses or suits trotting around with their little baskets hunting for Easter eggs. I think of the Resurrection. I think of birds singing in the trees and butterflies dancing in the sun.

I also think of kids riding their bicycles in the neighborhood streets and cars full of teens driving around with the music blaring.

And I think of cool nights and the glowing lights of fireflies blinking in the twilight.

What do you think of when you think of Spring?

Wishing you all a joyous season whether it’s spring or fall in your Hemisphere.

I think of longer daylight hours; walks in the countryside with friends; blossoms, flowering bulbs and fresh baby-green leaves. I think of Lent and the hope of the resurrection.

Absolutely! 💯 So beautiful! I love the baby green grass! Sometimes I’ll be driving and look across a field and see that fresh green grass that looks laid out like a carpet! 💖💐🌹
