This quote has given me a great idea! My thoughts are churning.
I’m so glad you got inspiration out of it. <3
Thank you so much. <3
Good Idea in theory, but as we get older not so satisfying. If I could, I would see my kids every day. That is not possible, so in truth we are living the idea.
I completely understand.
When I retired they sooooo missed me! In fact they begged me to come back, so I did on my terms!
That’s awesome, Valerie! Did they treat you better the second time?
Amen. Life’s too short to keep giving to the takers. I’m too busy for that!
I totally agree! 🙂
This hits home for me on many levels. I’ve alway been that go to friend, family member and employee. With my illness I’ve had to learn that it’s ok to hand the baton off and take care and of what is important…me. It’s interesting to see who has stepped up, who is confused and who has simply disappeared. Saying yes to ones self is not selfish. It’s necessary for ones health and the health of others.
Thank you so much, Vrye. And I’m so proud of you for putting yourself first because that takes courage and a willingness to piss off a few people. You’re worth fighting for. 💖💐🌹
Oh I love pissing people off! Lol! It gets them thinking and results in honest conversation!
🤣😂🤣😂 That’s a great way to look at it! 💖💖💖
