I love blogging about bullies and bullying. I also love writing books with bullying in the plot. I consider this my life’s work, because I get huge heart-rewards when I know I’ve helped a target of bullying reclaim their personal power and their life.
For me, helping others overcome bullying pays huge dividends and I realize that I may have helped someone make the decision to go on living instead of ending it all. You don’t know what that does for me. I love knowing that I possibly saved a life and it’s the most important reason why I love what I do.
I don’t say this from a place of arrogance and boastfulness. I say it from the heart. I don’t claim to be some kind of superhero, in fact, I’m far from it. I’m just an ordinary, everyday person who was affected so deeply by the bullying I suffered that I couldn’t stand the thought of anyone else having to endure it.
In that, I felt I had a purpose to speak out about it and tell other targets and survivors what I’ve learned along the way to give them empowerment.
I love interacting with other bloggers and have made some great friends in the blogosphere. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without these great people. WordPress is the best form of social media on the internet and I’ve learned so much from the other bloggers! So, I would suggest to any new blogger that interacting with other bloggers- reading their posts, commenting, and liking are an essential part of blogging.
I will admit that when I first started, I was very shy and the thought of talking with people I never met was terrifying. However, I’m so glad that I pushed past my fear and did it. Otherwise, I would have missed out on some awesome people!
I also get the therapy I need from it. It keeps the depression away, keeps me grounded, and provides a purpose in life.
With that said, when you love what you do, it’s not about gaining a huge number of followers. It’s not about material gains. Granted, those things would be nice to have, but, at the end of the day, it’s the rewards to your mind, heart, and spirit that keep you plugging away.
It’s the desire to bring positive change to the lives of others and to the world. I’d like to make my personal contribution and have a positive imprint in the hearts of others. I’d also like to leave a legacy behind for targets and survivors of bullying.
It’s about helping as many targets and survivors as possible to become overcomers before I leave this world.
I just turned 50 a few months ago. So, provided nothing happens, I figure I have another twenty to thirty years left here, if The Lord wills it be. And I want to use the time I have left doing what I love to do and making a positive difference in the lives of targets and survivors everywhere!
What is your path? What do you love to do? What is your purpose and life’s work? What would you like to accomplish before you leave this world?

Thank you so much! ❤❤❤
Most welcome
Writing a book, or composing a piece of music. Or painting that special picture.
Exactly 💯
And you can do it! Set your mind to it and there’s nothing you can’t do, sweetie!
Happy to know you enjoy helping others. My personal goal is to always make people walk away after talking and being with me feel positive or better about themselves.
No doubt your life’s work is exactly what you should be doing.
Thank you so much, Texas Jack. This means a lot. ❤
Being.
I already did.
I’m learning to just ‘be’…
That’s awesome. Just relax and be. 🙂❤
I love helping others with their apprehensions just like you do. Well the purpose of the life is to serve humanity and that would be the biggest accomplishment for me.
Thankyou for all the positivity and good vibes. ❤️
It’s my pleasure. And thank younfor your contributions to humanity as well. We’re a team!
Indeed!!
If one of the little things I do changes on life for the better then I’ve done well. Perhaps it will be that letter of recommendation. Maybe giving time and patience to the student having difficulties. Maybe talking someone out of quitting the PhD program… Or maybe it was just being a mother or daughter, aunt or cousin… I’m too close to the painting of my own life to make a guess. Only when I have a wider perspective will I be able to see what was important. In the meantime I’m treating everything as important!
That’s awesome, Valerie! And yes! I agree!
I agree about WordPress! I don’t mind Instagram (for the photos) but it lacks the depth of WordPress. Keep doing what you are doing! You do it well and people need to know they are not alone in a bad situation.
Thank you so much, Anne Marie! 😊❤
It is so beautiful and courageous to find and live your purpose with conscious choice. What a gift and inspiration to others on the way! I agree with what a precious space WordPress is, I grew a ton by being here.
Thank you so much for your kindness. It’s such a blessing indeed! And yes, I’ve learned so much throughout WP which has contributed to growth.
You are very welcome 🙂
You have been an inspiration to me and many others. I originally started blogging to boost sales of my books but I have met a lot of amazing people here. You included.
This means so much, Michael. Thank you. 😊🤗
Cherie, you are indeed making a positive difference in the lives of targets and survivors everywhere girlfriend! 👏🏼 By exposing the patterns of bully-ish behavior and giving encouragement to those who are victims of these horrible acting individuals, is great inspiration and motivation to show them how they can indeed rise above such intended victimization! Awesome post! 👍🏼💖🤗
Thank you so much, Kym! You don’t know how much this means! ❤🌹
Well, you can tell how much you are inspiring people just from the comments posted. Continue doing what God has blessed you with… gifts and talents!!! 🙏🏼❤🤗
I sure will, girl! Thank you so much! 😊

Wow! They keep a lot of things secret, don’t they? Makes you wonder why they want to hide it so much!
Yes yes 😊
I hear you!
I’m so glad you love what you do, Cherie. This shines in your writing and others love you and your posts too. I wear many hats and love them all – I love writing and blogging; I love seeing my sons and my grandchildren and playing and reading them stories; I love working in my charity shop, running the mums and toddlers’ group, serving tea and teaching Sunday School, hosting the home group and cycling and reading… I love 24/7 because God is my joy and my love. <3
That is such a blessing, Dawn! And you are a blessing! I’m so glad you love what you do because if we don’t love what we do, we can never do it effectively or efficiently. I love spending time with my hubby, family, and adult children. I love sitting in my swing in the back yard and enjoying the weather, and I love listening to good music. Life is so much better when we love what we do. And I know that your children and your Sunday school class love you and appreciate all you do! <3
