Loving yourself is the most beautiful decision you do everyday!
Amen on that one! It’s something I wish I’d began earlier in life. But you live and learn. 😊
I agree! and I am guilty about it as well. Hahaha. I have learned it the hard way but I guessed its better late than never 😉
There you go! 💯🎯
I am glad you chose to love yourself. You have affected a lot of people. I know you have helped my career with your understanding of bullying.
Oh, Ben, you don’t know how glad I am to hear this! I’m so honored to have helped you in your career. My last husband was a Corrections Officer with the West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning, TN. We got married in October of 2011 and he died from suicide just 12 days after we were married. I believe he was being bullied at work based on the stories he told me and others told me after he died.
I was crushed. I was the one who found him dead in his truck after he put a .357 in his mouth and pulled the trigger. It really sent me into a tailspin. Only God could carry me through it. And He did.
I plan to post about it at some point but can’t do it now. But I’ll know when I’m ready.
This is why I have such respect for CO’s because they don’t get the respect they’re due. I know my limits and it’s a job I couldn’t do. So, thank you, Ben, for being one of those special people who can. God bless you.
You are a blessing Cherie. I am sorry for your loss, friend. I am touched and not equipped to appropriately respond
I completely understand, Ben. There’s never an easy response to something like this. But thank you so much.
But I wish you healing and will pray.
Thank you so much, Ben.
My guess is that some people don’t even realize they have that choice … but we all do!
You’re absolutely right. 💯 We don’t realize we have that choice when we’re young. Most of the time it takes getting older.
Thank you so much for the post! I an 18 right now and I learned a lot from this post!
You’re so welcome. I wish you a very successful future and loving yourself is your starting point. ❤
Thank you so much 😊😊. And yes! Nobody in this world knows me as well as I do. So I can be my best lover😊
That’s right! 👍💯
Wonderful reminder Cherie. ❤ All too often so many young people grow up to be adults who have been conditioned into thinking that they shouldn’t love themselves. There’s a difference in loving oneself, in spite of what others think and all out narcissism! 🤗💖☺
Thank you so much, Kym. Amd you’re so right. Most of us were conditioned that way and it’s sad. You have to wonder whether the people who conditioned us thought it was for our benefit or theirs.
I agree with you Cherie. I don’t think such conditions were beneficial to those who have such low self-esteem or who do not embrace the special people who they are. All too often, those who we love or say they love us can be the very ones to break our spirits. I appreciate you sharing such wisdom. 👏🏼🥂💖
My pleasure. 🤗
Nice quote…..
❤🌹
Nice 🙂 Excellent Work. Keep it up.
Thank you so much! ☺
