“When people take you for being stupid, it can be a good thing if you know how to use it to your advantage.
You can be sneaky and use the label to deceive them. You can pull some sly, shady stuff and get away with it because no one would ever suspect it was you. They’d never believe you were smart enough to pull it off!
If You’re Going to Play the Fool, Be a Genius at It!”

Yes! Best advice. <3 π
Thank you so much! <3
My first thought was Boston Rob from Survivor, at least in his early days on the show.
I don’t guess I ever saw him. I’ve seen the show a few times but don’t remember him. π
He’s been on five times as a player and once as a non-player role, as well as two times on Amazing Race and on some celebrity poker show. He met his wife the second time he was on Survivor and proposed to her in the final episode. He’s probably the most well-known of everyone who got their start in the celebrity world as a Survivor contestant. But before everyone knew him, he came across as being a dumb construction worker, but he was actually brilliant at the kind of social skills needed to play a game like Survivor. I didn’t like him at first, I thought he was a manipulative jerk and I got tired of the way they kept bringing him back over and over again, but he has grown on me over the years.
Oh, wait! I think I know who you’re talking about now! He was a tricky thing, wasn’t he? Some people just know how to manipulate social infrastructures I guess. And I remember that most of the other cast members couldn’t stand him.
Yes, that sounds like him π He was unpopular with many others the first few times he was on, but a lot of fans admired his gameplay.
Absolutely! π
Love the quote ππ½
